The Entrelac craze continues at Needle Rock. Check out the beret made from bulky Karabella Aurora. It's a fun learning project for entrelac that only takes 120 yards of yarn!
Congratulations, Corey! The vest of handdyed yarn if finished, and the buttons are a great finish!
Telluriders, look for Corey in her vest on the Main Street today!

Newlyweds learn to knit!

Meet Ed & Sharon - they spent a fair amount of their Telluride honeymoon in Needle Rock, first learning to knit ~ together ~ & then producing these adorable baby hats in baby alpaca grande. Check back in 8.5 months or so for the hats in use!! Congratulations!

Harriet's Moose Hat

This incredible labor of love was created by Harriet out of local suri alpaca (black) and cashmere (grey). This was done on size 1 needles & turned out so fine - we'd love to see it again, on her son's head. What an incredible gift!

Cath's Snood

I always thought a "snood" was the neck thingie that dogs with long ears wore to keep their ears out of their food & water. This is WAY cooler & needs a more elegant name. Ideas? Gorgeously Cabled Neck Thingie?

Knit on the Mountain 2010

On the gondola Saturday traveling to "2nd Annual Knit on the Mountain Day". Our fellow travelers were kind enough to manage ski poles and take our picture!

Jenny's Head Bands

Local Tellurider, Jenny got a book on making 100 flowers, either knitting or crocheting. She's attached them to her custom headbands & is making them available in town. Aren't they cute?

Yes you can!

"A camping apron?", my friend quizzed. What better way to use up 17 or so loose skeins of worsted wool. Yes, I said wool. So, no uni-tasker this apron ~ it doubles as a lap robe & the pocket is welcome for the non-cooking hand while a chill hangs in the air. I'm thinking of adding a 2nd pocket, again using a bulky weight. Having trouble seeing this image? Could be the glare coming off my winterized legs!
