A sideways glance...

I give up - I have saved this picture right side up, but when GoogleBlog uploads it, it's cattywhompus. Anyway, you can see that we had such a good time with our dyeing - come check out the results in the shop!

Some Local Color

How about this for the first days of Fall in our corner of paradise?

How would this be as one of our needlepoint tapestries?

Just brilliant!

...even when the sun don't shine - it's beautiful!

Part of Ginger's "commute"!

Our 5th Birthday Party!

Meet Brigitte in her entirely hand-knit outfit!

Had to make sure we showed the beautiful handbag & skirt too.

Our first & most enthusiastic party-goer - hat & noisemaker - does it get any better? Well yes, where's my cake?

Who would've guessed that we had a party hat to match Eleanor's jacket?

& true to form, celebrating with a bit 'o the bubbly!

Oh! Here's the cake...

Paula & Jenny - regular Friday Lunch Bunchers.

& the candidate shows up...for cake.

Telluride's premiere couple, PSR & Billy Bob

Are we festive, or what?

Amy enjoys some cake, while Suzette wows us with TFF stories.

Full table = good party!

Firefighter & Knitter Extraordinaire, Cathy shops our 5th Birthday Sale.

Forgot to photograph the balloons when they were aloft @ our gate.

sometimes it's about the yarn!

A new Baby Alpaca yarn from Plymouth Yarn Co. - works up beautifully - a braid in the yarn makes it go fast! We have several support patterns for this beautiful & unique yarn.

"More superwash" is what we hear so often, so here are some very generous hanks, also from Plymouth.

The new TIKAL from Grignasco Knits (Italy) is especially for our touch-ers. This baby alpaca, merino & polyamide is a dream for just about any project & promises not to stretch out the way 100% baby alpaca can. You gotta feel this one!

Roadmap is done!

The Roadmap scarf by SknitsB worked up in Baby Sublime (washable merino, silk & cashmere)

The final block is The End of the Road - this is where I actually learned how to purl thru the back loop - a new technique for me. I like how it came out!
This yarn is a dream to work with, for this, or virtually ANY project
