NRF Knit in Public Day and Telluride Heritage Fest

How cool is this photo? Ginger snapped it just as the first carriage went by - could be the 1880's, eh?

The Heritage Festival provided us with a covered table for our Knit in Public Day - here we feature Joy, a guest to town, & Peggy Sue - a Needle Rock regular.

We love Joy's bright shirt & Cath's bright smile! Ms Jett got quite a bit of her 2 socks @ once done in the few hours we Knit In Public!

Our booth was stationed next to the sheep shearer - nothing like seeing (& hearing) yarn on the hoof!

Lynette's Oh-So-Soft crocheted hat

Local Lynette crocheted this hat (a couple of times to get it just right) & whoa baby, it was worth it! Very soft & cuddly 'round the ears, warm but not bulky. Very flattering!

Vest for My Girls

My nieces have their birthdays in May, so I knit up these quick vests - washable wool from Fiesta!

I chose vests over sweaters both for the time factor & the girls' growth spurts.

Mushishi - say it fast 3 times!

A close-up of only one of our six colorways of Mushishi - a fantastic & generous (491 yards) hank of gorgeous wool & silk. Ann did a wonderful shrug (sorry, didn't get a photo) for her god-daughters (yes, they are sharing it!).

Stop by & feel the new colors - this yarn is a project waiting for you: a couple of scarves, a shawl, a shrug, worsted weight knee-highs, or get a couple of hanks for a swingy sweater, like local firefighter, Cathy made this winter!
